Basic operation steps

aim.link focuses on project decomposition and task collaboration. It can achieve goal decomposition, work collaboration and results collection of complex projects in different industries, thereby promoting the standardization of complex projects and realizing the portability and reuse of project management.

aim.link supports web sign up & login - independent terminals which can provide a better experience in project establishment, task entry, and statistical query.

Use email to Sign up

Accessing in a browser https://aim.link, then click on Get Started. Follow the instructions to fullfill the frofile creation; or log in directly with your Google account.

Create projects and import tasks

Create projects in aim.link by breaking down the development process into specific tasks. Convert previous project management collaboration methods such as spreadsheets, emails and offline meetings into online modes, which can achieve efficient collaboration and data statistics, to reduce management costs.

2.1 Create a project

Step 1: In the project module, click Create Project in the upper right corner, select Create Directly, enter the project name, start and end time, introduction, labels to finish creating the project.

Step 2: Set the personnel permissions and task notifications for the project.

Step 3: Add components freely.

 

2.2 Importing tasks

Step 1: Update the task executor, reviewer, and the planned start / end time for the task in the corresponding Excel table according to the actual situation. Adjust the table in advance if there are any changes.

Step 2: Choose "More" and click "Import from EXCEL", then upload the Excel files.

 

Task Operation

Managing tasks with aim.link eliminates manual work in three key areas:
  1. No more manual tracking of on-time work completion (the platform auto-tracks status).
  2. No need for manual deadline reminders (the system sends alerts automatically).
  3. Task outcome files are auto-aggregated, enabling bulk downloads.

3.1 Task completion process

3.1.1 Receiving task details

a. Receiving task reminders

After being assigned a task, you will receive a task assignment push notification via email from no-reply@app.aim.link.

Click on the button in the email to view the task details, understand the work requirements and the time schedule.

b. View personal to-do list

Personal to-do list will be synchronized to the to-do module of aim.link. The system will automatically sort and classify them according to the deadline: overdue, to-do today and unscheduled.

3.1.2 Mark tasks as Done

Click the "Mark Done" button in the task detail page to mark the task as done. Enter a remard regarding the task completion as a comment and upload the result as needed.

3.1.3 Review the completion of tasks

After the task executor mark the task as done, A message will be informed to the task reviewer(s) weather Confirm or Reject of the completion of the task. They can score the work, leave comments, and upload files at the same time. (A task under review can be recalled by the task executor before the reviewer confirms or rejects it.)

 

3.2 Collaboration and Urging

In the discussion area of task details, @ a member to leave messages, or rush the progress of the work if necessary (Only for project manager & task reviewer).

3.3 File uploading, viewing, and downloading

aim.link supports uploading various of files, which will be automatically collected into the same file module. It supports online viewing and batch downloading, for archiving and reviewing later.

 

Dashboard and Statistics

Automate data statistics to reduce the manpower and time costs.

4.1 Statistical Dashboard

Team administrators can view the data of all teamates in the Dashboard module. Project managers and project assistants can view the data within their respective authority. A customized statistical can be created according to the needs

Steps: Enter the Dashboard module ➡ Create a new dashboard ➡ Set the dashboard name ➡ Select the data source (projects) that needs to be counted ➡ Select the statistical card needed ➡ Create now

The dashboard can be shared with superiors (not in the team).

Click on the numbers in the table to view the details. aim.link also supports exporting a detailed list.
