Gantt chart
A Gantt chart is a bar chart that shows the progress of projects, schedules, and other time-related systems. It is mainly used to display the timeline or progress of a project, helping managers to intuitively understand the planned and actual progress of tasks. It is a widely used tool in planning management.
View Gantt chart within a project
● The professional version support to view across projects;
● In the project interface, select the project you want to view and click on the Gantt chart to view it;
The orange highlighted line in the Gantt chart indicates the current date
● Turn on the "Automatic Scheduling" function;
○ Click on "Automatic Scheduling". Tasks with a sequential relationship will automatically adjust the start time of the subsequent task (the duration remains unchanged);
○ Click on "Do not schedule historical data for now", the current position of the sequential dependency relationship remains unchanged, but the automatic scheduling mode is turned on;
● Just click to check to choose the the content to be displayed in a time period;
View Gantt charts across projects
● Task interface view can be set to group by project, and the Gantt chart can be viewed by switching the view mode to time view;
● The task filtering function can be used together with the Gantt chart function
● Select the interface display content, click the time bar or task name to display the task details;
Tips for using Gantt chart
● Display in Time dimension include day, week, month, quarter, and year in the Gantt chart. Adjust the viewing dimension at any time according to different time dimensions;
List modification
● Support select the content to be displayed on the interface;
● Support modify the width of the list interval by dragging;
View modification
● Adjust the time plan by dragging the start or end of the Gantt chart, and the time on the task will be synchronized in real time;
● Tasks can be directly associated in the Gantt chart (the task interface connection can directly set the order of tasks across projects);
Set the task advance/lag time
● When automatic scheduling is not turned on, when setting the task advance/lag time, the planned time of the previous and next tasks will not change, and the distance in the Gantt chart will not change;
● When automatic scheduling is turned on, when the task advance\lag time is set, the previous and next tasks will always be separated by this time interval;
● Click the time bar or task name to display task details;
● The color of the line segments in the Gantt chart represents different task statuses, and you can view detailed task status information through the legend.
Export Gantt chart
● The Gantt chart can be directly exported as an image format for offline viewing;
● All tasks can be exported.
