Process Network

Process Network

One of the ways to view project tasks, helping collaborators to efficiently sort out the tasks in order and clarify the key paths of tasks. It is generally used for task creation and process tracking of multi-task line projects, helping project managers to make reasonable plans and schedules, and fully understand the progress of the project. It helps managers to adjust plans in time to ensure efficient and reasonable project progress.

Functional Description

● Professional Edition and Business Edition support network diagram function

● Network diagram is an openable component in the project and can be turned on/off in the project menu bar

● The network diagram is divided into edit and view mode

● View mode

○ View only the project network diagram and the current task completion status

○ View the forward line

● Task

The task name is displayed inside the arrow, and the task status is represented by circles of different colors.

The time points corresponding to the left and right nodes of the task are the planned start and deadline of the task.

Only the first-level tasks in the project are displayed in the diagram.

Tasks with both start and end times will be displayed in the diagram.

● Dotted line

The dotted line indicates the order of tasks.

The dotted line is drawn from the end node of the previous task and connected to the start node of the next task.

● Wave line

Free time difference: The difference between the completion time of the previous task and the start time of the subsequent task is called the free time difference. The time span of the waveform line indicates the length of the free time difference.

● The node table indicates the end or start of the task. Two tasks are connected through the same node, indicating the order of the tasks.

View mode

● Taskbar: Click the Taskbar button in the operation bar to open the taskbar, which displays the first-level tasks in the current project.

1. The task bar displays the first-level tasks in the current project. Click the wbs number. If the task is in the picture, the corresponding task will light up.

2. The task bar supports task filtering, opening, and task fields sorting.

● Forward Line

The forward line connects the current date and the start node of the ongoing tasks on each line. You can use the forward line to quickly check the progress of each line in the project.

● Press and drag a task to change the task row and task time

● Move the mouse to the edge of the task to modify the task time without adjusting the node

● A solid line is drawn from the right side of the node. Connecting to the node to create a task
